I received a phone call from marketing department of Concorde Hotel Shah Alam saying that I was selected to be their Platinum member.. they told me all the benefits.. 50% discount for meal.. free stay up to 5 days.. gym.. bla bla bla.. lifetime membership cost RM1000.. I said I wasnt interested.. (and they didnt ask for any of my friend that might interested)

heheh.. it doesnt matter that I can afford it or not.. (so obvious that I couldnt..) at least it was an acknowledgement.. not just some random phone call.. heheh.. it would be damn fun if I ask her to call me in 5 years time maybe.. by then.. I might be interested..

The One With The Big Mac and The Milkshake 

Since started my new job, I've turned to be a regular Subang Jaya McD drive thru customer.. Never I feel any dissatisfaction with their service.. My fav would be either Quarter Pounder or Double Cheese Burger..

Today, I changed my menu.. ordered a Big Mac and a Choc Milkshake.. when I about to eat.. I noticed they forgot to give me a straw, no extra chillies.. and the worst, it was a Vanilla Milkshake..

I just shook my head and had my lunch... hmm.. just realised.. no tissue also.. must be a rookie..

Suruhanjaya Diraja Polis telah dibentuk bagi membantu meningkatkan mutu perkhidmatan polis yang baru sahaja menyambut ulangtahun ke 197 di Malaysia..

last friday i got an experience that i would like to share .. (cerita dalam chronology senang sikit nak faham).. my aunty suruh jaga rumah dia since dia nak pegi oversea for 5 days.. last month rumah dia kena masuk pencurik, so kena berjaga2..

1055 pm - sampai rumah.. bukak lampu.. masuk bilik.. barang bersepah.. check other rooms.. sah kena masuk lagi.. EVAC!! (in case pencurik still ada kat dalam)

1058 pm - call anak tuan rumah (my cousin).. call 999.. transferred the line to Brickfields police station.. (rumah dekat bukit damansara).. dia kata kejap lagi polis datang..

1115 pm - my cousins sampai.. check rumah.. tak ada sapa.. pintu belakang kena pecah.. check barang barang.. barang2 besar tak nampak yang hilang.. jewelleries/cash money tak tau since tuan rumah tak ada to confirm..

1125 pm - ramai neighbour dtg tgk..

1140 pm - dua org polis datang naik motor.. ckp diorang from nearby sbb ada satu lagi kes pecah rumah.. tapi diorang tak buleh amik report.. yang amik report polis peronda (short-form Poron??) bawak kereta only.. n diorang tgh dekat another crime scene.. kena tunggu after twelve.. another polis peronda punya shift akan datang.. diorang tak cukup manpower since kena cover kawasan besar sangat.. (include segambut dalam, bangsar, brickfield etc)

1200am - polis naik motor abih shift.. balik balai..

1225am - Poron bawak kereta 2 orang sampai.. amik statement.. sorang ajer yang tulis statement.. sorang lagi lepak kat luar isap rokok..

1245am - abih ambik statement.. polis lepak kat luar sambil tunggu Investigation Officers aka CSI team.. ada satu set CSI team ajer.. kena tunggu depa abih siasat another crimescene..

0115am - dalam 4 orang datang bawak kamera etc.. amik gambar lebih kurang.. (dua org ajer yang buat keje.. yang lain duk luar isap rokok..)
then mintak copy previous statement.. salin balik, then tanya lebih kurang.. dia kata since tuan rumah tak ada.. n tak tau berapa nilai kerugian, suggest nnt tuan rumah balik.. datang balai.. buat statement lagi sekali.. (ughhh.. again??) before balik dia buat conclusion kemungkinan besar pencurik tak jumpa apa dia nak carik..

0145am - CSI balik, cakap ada another crimescene diorang nak kena proses..

0215am - semua orang balik.. dekat pukul 3 baru buleh tido.

Hmm.. Astro buat hal lagi malam tadih.. so we ended up staying up for 8 hours watching VCD Cinta Tiga Musim.. comment as below

Memang telah diduga, hasil karya Aziz M. Osman berjaya menarik minat penonton mengikuti pahit maung suka duka percintaan antara Ayuni (lakonan Amy Mastura) dan Imran (lakonan Aqasha).. Cerita ini bermula dengan perpisahan Ayuni dan Imran atas dasar suka sama suka apabila cinta mereka mendapat tentangan keluarga Imran.. Dalam meniti hari-hari sukar, Imran dan Ayuni membawa haluan masing-masing dan mencari cinta sejati.. Aziz sekali lagi menggunakan plot 'coincidence' sebagaimana yang beliau berjaya lakukan dalam filem 'Senario Lagi'.. Pertemuan membawa kepada kekeliruan kepada Imran yang telah bertunang dengan Sheila (lakonan Yasmin Suraya) yang juga merupakan kenalan Ayuni.. Di akhir musim pertama, hubungan mereka sekali lagi berakhir dengan perpisahan..

Musim kedua bermula, kali ini Ayuni telah bersahabat baik dengan Budi (lakonan Mohd Faisal), seorang yang manja da dependant.. Sifat yang terlalu contra sekali dengan Imran menyebabkan Ayuni sukar untuk jatuh cinta terhadap Budi.. Walaupun begitu, Ayuni masih mengharapkan adanya cinta di sudut hati untuk diberikan kepada Budi.. Dalam pada yang sama, Ayuni masih menunggu bintang hati nya, yang tak pasti bilakah akan bersinar.. Bagai telah tersurat di dalam takdir, Ayuni bertemu sekali lagi dengan Imran setelah 2 tahun berpisah.. Ayuni menyertai kem motivasi di Langkawi di mana Imran merupakan motivatornya.. sedikit unsur-unsur komedi turut diselitkan dalam musim ini.. Ayuni hampir berjaya kembali kepada Imran sebelum Budi datang mencari jawapan kasih.. penonton pastinya akan benci dan meluat terhadap perangai Budi yang terlalu mendesak serta kebudak-budakan.. Imran akhirnya merasakan betapa perlunya Ayuni di sisi Budi menyebabkan dia terpaksa berpaling dan berlagak seolah-olah menolak cinta Ayuni.. sifat mudah mengalah Imran pastinya begitu akan mengecewakan peminat..

Aziz M. Osman memulakan musim ketiga dengan fokus yang lebih terhadap kisah Mira (lakonan Eja)Mira merupakan bekas kekasih Imran ketika di kolej sehinggalah Ayuni muncul menyebabkan cinta Imran beralih arah.. Kini Mira menjalinkan hubungan cinta dengan Johari (lakonan Ako Mustapha).. 'Malaysian Most Eligible Bachelor' yang juga seorang pengarah filem.. Dalam usaha menghasilkan 'filem yang bakal menjulang nama Malaysia di mata dunia', Joe bertemu Ayuni.. sekali lagi cinta Mira dirampas gadis yang sama.. Imran turut terlibat dalam projek penerbitan filem berkenaan selaku pengarah pemasaran dan Miyazaki, Jepun telah sekali lagi menemukan Ayuni dengan Imran..

Secara keseluruhannya VCD telemovie ini , menarik ditonton terutamanya bagi peminat Amy Mastura. Ikan paus, Rose Dawson dan Tun Teja dijadikan simbol abstrak setia dan cinta. Turut ditampilkan ialah Alvin Tham, suami Amy yang memegang watak Rizal, teman lelaki Idora (lakonan Aida Aris).

The One With The New Giant 

While on my way home yesterday using LDP, I stopped by at the newly opened Giant Hypermarket to do some groceries. They held their Opening sale from 2pm - 10pm. I parked my car by the roadside coz there were too many cars parking inside. I prefer to walk a bit further rather than spending my time try to find a parking space..

So, I arrived at the main entrance and walking in before a security guard ask me about whether i have a 'green pass'.. If you dont have it you cannot pass through the main door.. 'What the heck??'.. There's was no notice whatsoever mentioned about it.. So, I followed the crowd to enter thru another door.. (pretty bad for the first impression though..)

Later, I walked into the hypermarket section.. Lots of people.. may be not as many as when Giant OU2 was opened.. I took a trolley and did my shopping.. Good arrangement.. however at some places one shopping cart could get thru and some 'so cleverrrrrr' shoppers left their shopping trolleys there.. selfish!

At the checkout counter.. though a lot of people inside but they managed to handle it well.. they opened additional checkout counter so that every counter held only 2-3 customers at a time.. not that long queues compared to Tesco's opening sale.. I was delayed a couple of minutes.. a customer in front of me apparently had the green pass and entitled for 10% discount.. (how come i didnt know that) Before they got the discount, a supervisor was needed to key in a password to track one customer can get only one time discount.. This supervisor i guessed have a few cashiers under her.. so she got to go to a few cashiers to do that.. luckily it was not that long..

I carried my plastic bags and returned the trolley.. I couldnt put the trolley properly into the row of other trolleys.. later i realised there were two sets of trolleys.. look like the same but one got black rollers and another got red.. the one with black roller can get into the one with red one but cannot vice versa.. odd?? but believe it.. I already checked the rows of trolleys by the parking lots.. and it is true..

oh! btw i forgot to mention a few Cons during my first visit.. My total groceries price was RM40.51.. gave RM50 to cashier in charge.. the cashier hit down enter button and showed balance of RM9.49.. later i gave her another 51¢ (i just noticed that the '¢' sign is no longer exist in ASCII) from my wallet.. suddenly she got confused on how much she should give me back.. hehe.. funny..

I only spotted two ATM machine at the new huge (and) Giant building.. a Bank Islam ATM and Arab Malaysian's.. there were another 4 empty slot which might be occupied soon...

Dine places.. I just remember a Pizza Hut there.. (need to double check again..)

As I walked out.. I saw a security guard told a driver without the green pass invitation that he cannot park his car inside.. lucky me.. i took my car and drove back home and had a nicely prepared dinner with my wife..

Later today, I heard on traffic update.. LDP was badly congested due to the newly open Giant hypermarket.. I used NKVE instead.. I think they should've wait until the flyover complete..

The One With The Next CM of Johore 

So, yesterday after office I went to Subang Parade. Ichah, Mama, Aunty Gayah and Erin already there waited for me.. later, mama said.. "Zen, I want to see my son-in-law as a Chief Minister".. what?? for a moment, i thought there was "somebody" (who's well-known in politics) tried to hit on my sister-in-law (or probably my wife (nauzubillah.. )).. later she explained that she wants me to join in politics.. heh.. silly me.. by son-in-law she meant current son-in-law (which is me), not her next son-in-law..

Never in my mind thinking of joining politics.. I'm not that good with people in public.. and I always think that politic is damn dirty.. my mother involves in politics for almost 20 years.. she's always busy.. but everytime the election(general or party) is coming, she'll be extraordinary busy.. plus with 'fitnah' and 'surat layang' flying all over the place.. could I handle all that.. hmmm.. I dont think so.. what say you my dear?

The One With Adik Manja 

heh.. lama tak tgk cerita melayu.. so last night lepas amik sha from work.. we watched Adik Manja in Astroria.. It has been a while since the last time we watch it.. so.. layan sampai pukul 3 pagi sambil makan pancake.. last last dua dua bangun lambat..

The One With The Election (part 2) 

So, for the first time semalam aku keluar mengundi.. heh.. aku ingat siap kena beratur sampai 2-3 kilometer.. so dalam kul 1 aku keluar aa dengan abang2 aku.. (abg aku bukan menteri besar).. tengok2 kitorang jer yang ada time tuh.. heh.. tak tau ler sebab satu seat dah menang tanpa bertanding kan.. bosan la jugak rupanya ari mengundi nih..

Lepas tuh.. petang sikit aku keluar gih town.. time nak balik tuh.. dah kul 8 mlm gitu.. ada aksi high speed chase Honda Civic dengan kereta polis wira.. nak follow tak sempat sbb banyak giler kereta.. so maintain jer la.. then about 5 km kat depan.. aku tgk honda civic dah terbabas masuk semak.. overturned.. (dia pakai tayar kering kot).. driver aku tak nampak.. (mati kot.. tak sure..) tapi co pilot tgh duduk kat rumput.. tangan atas kepala.. polis tgh rush pegi kereta tuh.. kalao kitorang tunggu lama sikit sure masuk dalam Sembilan Sembilan Sembilan punya la.

Malam tuh lepak tunggu result BN menang besau include abang Ayul aka Shahidan Kassim.. heh.. (ada imbuhan tak nih?)

Pagi tadih baru sampai KL.. demm paklah tak kasik cuti ari nih...

Tgh breakfast pagi tadih ada pulak mamat 2 ekor sibuk cerita pasal election.. cakap kuat nak mampus.. lepas tuh siap ada komen pasal PAS menang kat Senggarang plak tuh.. dia tak tau ada org Senggarang sebelah dia...

huaghhh.. aku ngantuk sebenarnyer nih.. till then..
