The One With The Song
I read some bloggers listed their 'rightest' song at the right time.. say.. song to listen before u go to sleep, song after a break-up etcetera etcetera etcetera..
I also got one.. for me it's a perfect song at a perfect time.. but u have to follow conditions below :
1. Drive downtown or on highways..
2. Preferably early nite, not so late..
3. If you dont drive a convertible, 'bukak tingkap'..
4. Tune in The Verve's hits wonder 'Bittersweet Symphony' (album Urban Hymns, track 1)
5. Repeat the song few times
Expected result : You should feel like 'Fuhhhhhhh....' and think yourselves as Sebastian Valmont (aka Ryan Phillippe in Cruel Intentions) or Reese Witherspoon / Sarah Michelle Gellar.. it works for me on the first try.. :P

The One With The Lyric
Would like to share with you guys this lyric.. its by coldplay.. 'Fix you'.. some might have listened their new X & Y album.. some might heard this song in Live8 concert.. some might also noticed from The OC (2)..
Here you go.. Cheers..
FIX YOU - Coldplay
When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
COULD IT BE WORSE?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I
Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you.

The One With The Wedding Bells
These few months (back and upcoming).. many of our friends are getting married (or engaged).. seems the 'Seru' (call) has been answered by most..
Many have passed the quarter of century mark and decide to settle down.. even those who didn't seem likely to get married back then.. hehe..
Congrats to all who's joining (or just joined) the married-life-club (you know who you are) and all the best too.. remember it's not the end, a new chapter has just begun..
Oh.. btw i got another friend.. his girlfriend surprised him with romantic dinner & a spanking new PS2 for his birthday.. hers is coming in a month time.. if you were in his shoes, what would be the most appropriate gift for her in return?? I did suggest an Engagement ring.. heheh.. dont you agree??
ps: if you feel being 'double' is much better than being single, wait till u turn 'triple'.. (you + your spouse + a child; not + another partner!!).. kan dear??

The One With Proton (Sawy)
What's with the news today? Utusan Malaysia frontpaged Proton head Tengku Mahalel has been issued a show-cause letter but thats not what PM said.. check other source NST, BH..
And have u ever listen to new Proton Savvy advertisement via radio.. erm.. not the one with driving Sawi with eyes closed or the one with Godzilla in TV.. but the one with delivering pizza from KL to Singapore in 30 minutes..
Ermm.. I personally feel that advert is really ridiculously pathetic.. KL to Singapore (almost 400km) in 30 minutes? and it also mentioned about top speed of Sawy is up to (only) 170kmph.. so how does it gonna make it? Towed by a super fast bullet train/jet?? I think this is the first time I heard any carmaker to promote their top speed.. and isnt it against the law to make such thing considering the fact that we have our road speed limit??
Oh by the way.. last thing I heard, Proton is gonna make a deal with Daihatsu and Citroen for their next model which will be called 'PRODAH-CIT!!'.. nah kidding..

The One With Pangkor Island Beach Resort
Ok.. my turn for the vacation report.. Last weekend was my second visit to Pulau Pangkor.. First was a day trip to Pantai Teluk Nipah way back when I was still single.. :P Actually, I also got an opportunity to go to Pangkor Laut earlier this year but couldnt make it due to some safety reasons.. :P
So.. 7 buses of us departed from KL at 8 am and arrived at Lumut Jetty Terminal about 3 hours after that.. (I noticed that Lumut Jetty has been under major facelift since the last time I been there..) Leason learnt : buy you supplies (drinks, titbits, etc) before your board into the ferry coz you'll find everything at almost double the normal price..
An express ferry will take you to the resort jetty where feeder bus will wait you there.. If you missed the express ferry, you still can take the normal ferry to Pangkor town and then hop into taxi to go to the resort at Teluk Belanga..
It was quite a nice and peaceful beach resort.. until the 'army of darkness' and 'the forces of lights' came and conquered the Hotel.. :)) theme for this year BUM was 'Lord of the BUM: Return of the BUM'.. too bad for those visitors who came last weekend for their peacefulness that had been bothered by our craziness.. too bad..
heheh..
It was almost a weekend packed with activities.. OG updates, team building, dinner and leisure..
For those who love outdoor activities, you may try watersports : kayaking, canoeing, banana-boating, jet-skiing, wind surfing, snorkeling, parasailing.. or try biking, football, beach volleyball, 18-hole mini golf and archery for those who dont wanna get wet.. for indoor, there are Spa, traditional massage, pool & snooker, pingpong & dart, although I found out it might not be well maintained.. (i meant the snooker and pool table.. since i didnt try the rest)
Oh and not to forget, two relaxing swimming-pools where almost all of us either voluntarily jump into the easy way or got thrown into the hard way.. hehe..
For dining, there are a restaurant and three bars available.. you may also try a romantic dinner by the beach for RM350++ for twosome and DIY buffet for RM150per/annax if you gang-banging.. leason learnt no 2.. eat all you can since it gonna be hard to find food after 10pm..
and dont worry, mobile phone is still useable in certain areas in the resort..
Oh dont ask me about the price since it was a fully sponsored trip.. wink!
For those who missed the trip.. visit here.. (pic by John, YH and others)
Ermm.. what else.. oh a message to Duta Pangkor Ferry agency.. I personally think it's wayyyyyyy not appropriate to show film that won 11 awards in 1997 Academy Awards in your ferry lah.. plz show something else.. :P
