The One With The Domestic Roaming
From Screenshots, I was told that government will take action if any of major telcos company refuse to compromise on sharing resource, bla bla bla.. (Read for yourself, here).. To understand the concept further, I backtracked to its source in TheEdgeDaily.
Basically, the idea is good.. the is no reason to waste on building to many towers, fixing and wiring cables underneath (resulting a spaghetti/'mee maggi' condition hehe.. )..
Ermm another thing to ponder.. if they all about to share, so.. less work to be done by smaller telco provider aka DiGi in order to upgrade their coverage, right?? hmmm.. so, Paranie & Sheila resigned for a reason then.. time to think about it Mr Tony.. heheh..

"Domestic roaming will automatically divert subscribers to another mobile phone operator, which has coverage, if their current network is unable to provide coverage. "Hmmm.. The scenario would be the same when Celcom-TMTouch merged.. When Celcom users entering a non-coverage area, they will automatically be diverted to TMTouch (provided area covered by TMTouch) and vice versa.. Calling rate would be a bit different back then.. My brother once worked somewhere in (Bangar, Brunei) area where in certain location, phone calls will be charged based on Brunei-KL rate and others will be based on Limbang-KL rate due to domestic roaming.. (It may not a very good example since both Celcom and TMTouch already became one Company). So, next will be roaming between three major telco providers..
