The One With The Freeway
I was a regular user to KLites favourite highway, or better known as Federal Highway (FH) aka Lebuhraya Persekutuan. I used it for about more than 2 years, before I got married and moved out from my Rumah Bujang.. However, since a month back my sister has been squatting in our house.. so every other day, I'll be using FH as my route to work after sending her to class..
Well, back then.. there was no other REAL alternative route.. the best alternative only using the farther+dearer road = (kerinchi link + sprint + nkve = RM3.40) which I used if and only if in a case emergency ie fatal accident occur; picking up GF (:P) etc.. otherwise, it would be 15-35 minutes (depend on ur luck) drive from Kerinchi to Subang.. now, better alternative New Pantai Expressway, (NPE) has been built to ease the traffic esp in area of Bangsar, Jalan Klang Lama and Subang. Quoting Hafiz from his daily rants;
"Hail Federal Highway.."
or would you rather pay??

Proudly advertised over the Highway Electronic Board;Is it for real?? Only 10 minutes?? My average time of drive from Kerinchi to my office parking lot would take around 20 minutes ± 5 minutes (read: using normal lane, not emergency lane though).. For me it is tolerable due to its easiness to access (1 stop traffic light only) + of course it is free.. i'd rather stuck in a 20-minutes of movable traffic rather than stop at couple traffic lights, queue up to pay RM1.60.. drive into so-called-hassle-free-road for 10 minutes, queue up again to pay RM1.60.. exit from the highway before queue up again at round-about, stop at couple other traffic lights.. before I can park my car at office.. PHEWWWW.. so much for my RM3.20.. call me stingy, whatever.. it is simply not worth my money..
"Hargailah masa anda dengan NPE. Hanya 10 minit dari Subang ke Bangsar."
"Appreciate your time with NPE. Only 10 minutes to Bangsar from Subang."
"Hail Federal Highway.."
